C | NET reports that Vonage, a Broadband Phone Service Provider ( VoIP ), has raised an additional $200 million more in venture capital. Some industry watchers are looking for investment in VoIP to begin to cool.

While venture capital may dry up to some extent, the industry is just starting to heat-up. Many consumers have already made the transition to the use of cell phones as their #1 communications tool, and with excellent pricing and features, VoIP could be the next step in the evolution of telecommunications.
