DSL Cuts Into Cable Internet Market Share

CNET reports that DSL sales are on the rise, cutting into the market share of Cable Internet providers. Price and service could be the reason.

Quoting CNET, " On average, DSL service ranges in price from $20 to $30 a month before discounts. Prices on cable broadband typically start around $30 to $40 a month and can go as high as $65 a month. For the most part, cable operators have competed with the phone companies on speed rather than price."
